Upholding My Craft, Staying True to My Original Aspiration: I Lead the Old Factory to Turn the Tide
After veteran technician Li Guangwei is laid off by the factory and forced by his daughter-in-law to return to his hometown, he takes over the Hongxing Agricultural Machinery Factory, which is on the verge of being auctioned off. Teaming up with his old colleagues, he improves a multifunctional farming machine and partners with Haixin Industries to compete in the national agricultural machinery competition. His rival, Wang Jinhai, repeatedly tries to sabotage him, but Li Guangwei wins the championship through his outstanding technical skills and dedication to craftsmanship. He brings the struggling factory back to life and inspires young people to return to their hometown. Meanwhile, the short-sighted Ruiyang Factory eventually goes bankrupt, while Hongxing flourishes, demonstrating the true spirit of hardworking industrial craftsmanship.
