Back to 1988: Turning a Losing Hand into a Royal Flush
In his previous life, Lin Chuan was reckless in his youth. One drunken blunder ruined the future of Xu Xue, a talented young woman, and caused his parents to die early from grief and worry. Even after working hard and becoming wealthy, he remained consumed by regret for the rest of his life. Reborn in 1988, at the very moment the tragedy occurred, he faces everyone's accusations and refuses to run away. Instead, he takes full responsibility for his mistakes, does everything he can to protect Xu Xue's reputation, and comforts his heartbroken parents. Seizing the opportunities of China's economic development in the 1980s, he builds a business through hard work and determination. By making amends for everything he owes others, fulfilling the regrets of his past, and rewriting his troubled history through responsibility and action, he rises again amid the winds of a new era.
