In the zombie apocalypse, Lin Xun is reborn back on the day of the virus outbreak. No longer soft-hearted, he resolutely quarantines his brother-in-law and others carrying the virus, clears out the mutant rats, exposes Professor Liu's conspiracy to develop the evolutionary serum, and successfully stops the large-scale outbreak of the virus. Afterward, he continues to track down clues, cooperates with survivors to stabilize the situation, and finally the evolutionary serum is released, ending the doomsday, while villains like Su Qing also receive their due punishment.
