Five-star food delivery rider Wu Ciren heroically jumped into a river on a rainy night to save someone and tragically sacrificed his life. Upon his soul's return to the Underworld, instead of receiving a blessed reward for a good end, he was met with Yanwang's verdict sentencing him to "reincarnate as a pure-bred Siberian husky." Determined to rewrite his fate of being reduced to a husky, Wu Ciren seized the expansion opportunity brought by the spiritual plane's territory growth and severe labor shortages, gritting his teeth to sign a 500-year labor contract and transferring to become a grassroots worker in the spiritual realm. From the fancy antics during personnel onboarding to the rapid upgrades of underworld body refinement, from frantically running up credit tabs and shopping sprees at the Spirit Treasure Hall to receiving and dispatching orders at the task hall, he maxes out the survival instincts of a contemporary corporate slave and blasts his way through workplace hurdles.
