Polar Night Arrives, I Rely on a Phone Call to Stockpile Into a Doomsday City
Extreme cold descends, and after rebirth, Lin Yanqiu relies on early morning phone call warnings to build the Jiuyao Center into a refuge. Raider Wei Zhendong sends a threat letter demanding she hand over half her supplies and ten young women. Lin Yanqiu does not hand over anyone, instead using fake routes to lure the invaders into an empty exhibition hall, using monitoring evidence to expose Wei Zhendong's actions of seizing hospital fuel, Lin Jiaojiao holding children hostage to jack up prices, and more. Gu Mingxiu delivers fuel, and she strictly inspects it according to material procedures, not letting him step into the resident area. In the end, Wei Zhendong is subdued, and the top raider fails to take anyone away. The first season concludes on the first day of July, and a distant yellow lamp not belonging to Jiuyao hints at a new threat.
