Red fox wind channel surveyor Kali and pangolin structure maintenance technician Kali encounter abnormal wind channel runaway at the inverted root bridge. The two hold conflicting philosophies; Kali wants to correct the rules, while Kali prioritizes risk avoidance, and they set out together to chase the truth in Vortex Leaf Valley and Echo Tree Belly. Owl old recorder Menzhong joins, and with the help of the vibrational echoes preserved in the tree belly, uncovers the secret of the root pulse runner. Kali recalls the past of mistakenly dismantling key connecting structures years ago, and the three join forces in the runner room to stabilize the runaway device. The crisis temporarily subsides, but they discover that the root pulse is responding to an unknown area, the forest wind suddenly stops, and a larger mystery quietly emerges.
