Boss, I Really Am Not the Godfather
Chen Daji, 36, ran a breakfast shop in China for over a decade and went to the US to "experience life" to avoid relatives urging him to marry. His burnt soy-sauce-flavored pancakes by the slums unexpectedly became a hit among homeless people, so he set pricing rules: "Free for the poor, double for the rich, triple for gangsters," and hired punk hoodlums to keep order. He chased away gangsters collecting protection fees with a few words, rebutted a business tycoon discussing an acquisition, and had his casual thoughts worshipped as creed, making his moniker "Soy-Sauce-Pancake Godfather" spread far and wide. Just wanting to run his stall peacefully, he ultimately attracts the FBI, the IRS, gangs, and investment bankers knocking on his door all at once, inviting him to host the "Soy-Sauce Pancake Peace Summit".
