The Day of Dismissal, the Company Came to a Complete Standstill
Xu Zhiwei, who holds a Level A legal qualification, has worked as a receptionist at Shenghong Group for six years. Besides handling everyday administrative tasks, she has also taken care of virtually every legal mess in the company. As the company prepares to go public, a legal department is finally established. But instead of receiving a promotion and a transfer to the legal department, Xu Zhiwei is stripped of her allowance and permanently relegated to the reception desk. Disheartened, she decides to stop covering for the company. A crucial patent lawsuit that could determine the company's fate ends in a crushing defeat, bringing its IPO plans to a complete standstill. Only then does everyone realize that the seemingly insignificant receptionist was the true legal mastermind holding the company together. When lucrative offers finally come her way, Xu Zhiwei resolutely walks away and carves out her own path with her formidable abilities.
