Father Song bragged before the emperor that his two daughters were bestowed in marriage by imperial decree to the Shen family: the elder sister Song Zhiyi was matched with the cold chief councilor Shen Du, and the younger sister Song Zhinian was matched with the young general Shen Fang. Worrying their marriages wouldn't suit their hearts, the two sisters wanted to quietly probe the two husbands' characters on the Mid-Autumn night. Who knew a drunken bout would cause a huge blunder, leading the two sisters to mistakenly cross their lines. Thinking the imperial betrothal was bound to hit snags, they never expected to let the mistake roll and have two pairs of bickering sweethearts respectively find their true soulmates amidst chaotic bickering.
