The Little Broken Temple Connects Ancient and Modern Times, Little Beggars Are Saved!
In a time of famine and chaos, an orphaned girl named Xiao Yao flees into a dilapidated temple to escape being sold. There, she meets several homeless boys: Wu Chuan, Xiao Man, Gou Dan, and Hu Zi. The old immortal who trades within the ruined temple awakens the ability to travel between ancient and modern times, allowing them to move back and forth between the two eras. While collecting scrap and finding ways to make a living, the children obtain modern food and medicine to survive their crises. Witnessing the vast differences between the two eras, they try digging for medicinal herbs and reselling grain to find a way forward. Supporting one another through hunger, cold, and hardship, they fight with all their might to escape their fate as beggars and find hope for a safe, stable life.
