Linlin, a little half-demon tiger, unexpectedly awakens memories of a storybook and discovers that she is destined to be a disposable supporting female character whose bloodline will be stolen and who will meet a tragic end. Determined to defy fate, she publicly turns her back on Bishui Peak and joins Canglan Peak, a sect that appears to be in ruins. There, her master, Hengyangzi, and her three senior brothers and sisters dote on her endlessly. After awakening her Divine Beast bloodline and forming a contract with an ancient Vermilion Bird, Linlin repeatedly humiliates her hypocritical elder sister, Huayao, and the people of Bishui Peak. After losing the Beast King competition, Huayao falls into demonic cultivation and manipulates Qinglan City into performing blood sacrifices to practice forbidden arts. In the end, Linlin fully awakens the power of the Beast God, breaks the great formation, saves the people of the entire city, and returns to the mountain with her fellow disciples.
