The Village Belle Is Not to Be Messed With
Su Wanqing, a skilled agricultural expert from Qingshan Village, clashes with Chen Mu, a university graduate who has returned home to invest, over a greenhouse dispute. Su Wanqing wins their farming competition with her local expertise. Chen Mu soon discovers that the investment scheme is actually a land-grabbing trap, leaving him saddled with a staggering three million yuan in breach-of-contract penalties. Su Wanqing breaks the deadlock by selling products through short videos, and the two join forces to establish a cooperative. But they face repeated sabotage from Qian Duoduo, the capitalist Shen Yi, and others, including smear campaigns, product swaps, land pollution, and exhibition scams. With help from an agricultural mentor, the villagers, and Chen Mu's father, they uncover the truth about the village's selenium-rich farmland and gather all the evidence of the capitalists' land speculation, exposing their forged documents, deliberate assaults, and other crimes.
