After Huang Manli becomes famous, she grows materialistic and leaves her boyfriend, Lin Che, for Wang Kai, the owner of an entertainment company. At a café, she breaks up with Lin Che and mocks him for being unable to provide the life she wants. Furious, Lin Che declares that he could turn even an ordinary passerby into a star.
