Ning Wudu, who stands just half a step away from ascension, has repeatedly risked his life over the past three hundred years to protect the Xuanxiao Sect. Yet its sect leader, Ji Chengzhen, covets his cultivation opportunities and sets a sinister trap. He orders the disciple Su Fu to frame and slander Ning Wudu, then uses Han Jibai of the Law Enforcement Hall to arrange a Dao-Sealing Formation, intending to imprison Ning Wudu and keep him bound to the sect forever. In front of everyone, Ning Wudu uses the Heaven-Illuminating Mirror to expose every conspiracy and uncover the shocking secret that his mortal bones were stolen and refined into the sect's Mountain-Suppressing Stele. He severs three hundred years of entangled karma, defeats the invading enemies, then shatters the Heavenly Gate and completely cuts ties with the heartless sect.
