Reborn as Yuan Feng's youngest son, Lin Yang, he was pushed onto the Phoenix clan's throne before even hatching. Seeing through the messy burden of the Dragon-Phoenix tribulation placed on the Phoenix clan, he refused to ascend the throne, retreating back into a magma egg to cultivate in stealth. With a system that grants rewards whether accepting or rejecting quests, Lin Yang avoided tribulation conflicts, collected innate treasures, refined the thirty-six Sea-Calming Pearls, opened up the Taichu Great World, and split into Taichu and Fengdu avatars. He protected Kong Xuan and Dapeng, and without relying on the Hongmeng purple Qi, proved his Hunyuan status through his own strength. Navigating the Lich, Investiture of the Gods, and Journey to the West tribulations, playing chess with various saints, he rewrote the tragic fates of many characters, guarded the Phoenix clan, comprehended myriad Daos, achieved the realm of Heavenly Dao, and walked the path transcending Honghuang.
