The landlord maliciously raises the rent fivefold at Chen's famous internet-famous sour soup hot pot restaurant. He then poaches Chen's apprentice of three years, offering him a chance to take over the restaurant and impersonate the original team. Together, they smear Chen's reputation and relentlessly sabotage her business, even arranging for the apprentice to use substandard chili oil to frame her. Armed with surveillance footage, Chen proves her innocence, and both the landlord and the apprentice come under investigation. Their cheap, low-quality restaurant quickly fails and closes, while Chen remains committed to quality ingredients and an authentic soup base. Her new restaurant soon becomes a huge hit.
