In 1992, Lin Haitao, a fisherman from Baishawan, is reborn on the very day his fiancée, Ma Caiyun, and her lover, Zhao Yongqiang, cut his oxygen hose and killed him. In his previous life, he was timid and honest, failing to appreciate his devoted wife, Shen Qinghe. Only at the moment of his death did he realize who had truly cared for him. Given a second chance, he discovers a gigantic blue egg embedded with a Soul-Suppressing Nail on the tidal flats. A drop of his blood hatches A Qing, a little Azure Dragon who has been pinned down for a hundred years. He gains the Dragon Spirit Seal, which allows him to understand the language of aquatic creatures and see treasures glowing beneath the sea.
