In her past life, she fought desperately to secure benefits for her sister, only to end up with a bad reputation, witness her sister snatch away her boyfriend, and collapse and run off only to die in a traffic accident. Unexpectedly reborn, she refuses to play the villain again and no longer charges forward for Shang Qing. Without Shang Chu's foil and backing, Shang Qing's gentle mask gradually cracks.
