Trapped in the cultivation world for nineteen years, Lu Yang was the bottom-tier outer disciple of the Jinhong Sword Sect, on the verge of being demoted to a handyman, when his belated Urban Tycoon System finally activated. Relying on daily task stat-boosting, consumption rebates, and investment returns, this outrageous cheat allowed him to start by hoarding elixirs, rapidly strengthening his spiritual roots, comprehension, and combat power, staging a counter-attack all the way. Along the way, he befriended the gentle alchemist Lin Ying and the dashing aristocratic lady Qin Nanyue, got entangled in peer rivalries and family probings, counter-controlled his enemy Li Yao, accumulated heavy trump cards such as flying boats and guardian protectors, and solidified an identity with unfathomable backgrounds. Finally, he returned home in glory aboard the Liuguang flying boat, embarking on his counter-attack path from an outer disciple to a top-tier powerhouse.
