In the famine year of 1961, Song Guangming opens his eyes and finds himself young again. In his previous life, his father was worked to death, his mother died with regrets, his younger sister was sold, and he himself was dragged into an abyss by his relatives. In this life, he swears never again to let others exploit him. Just then, Irina, a foreign girl fleeing famine, arrives, and the two form a bond. To ensure his family has enough to eat and to give his bride a grand wedding, Song Guangming ventures into the snowy mountains, hunts wild game, and carries home a 400-jin wild boar. From that moment on, he gradually changes his family's fate.
