Welded Exactly According to the Blueprint, and the Factory Director Panicked
Lin Zhenhai, an experienced welder, notices a dangerous welding flaw in a foreign client's blueprints. He warns the factory director, but his concerns are dismissed, and he is even forced to sign a statement accepting responsibility for the work. When inspections reveal damaged components, the company faces enormous compensation claims. The factory director tries to shift the blame, but Lin Zhenhai produces evidence proving he is not at fault. Afterward, the director and industry competitors join forces to obstruct him, restricting his access to welding materials and equipment. Relying on his exceptional welding skills, Lin Zhenhai upgrades old machinery, makes his own consumables, and breaks through every blockade. He goes on to secure a series of overseas shipbuilding orders, demonstrating the craftsmanship and integrity of a true artisan.
