Lin Xian, the laziest and most slack-off disciple of the Qingyun Immortal Sect, fishes in troubled waters all year round, refuses to engage in involution, and has a cultivation level that hits rock bottom year after year while maintaining an exceptional mindset. Su Qingyue, his rigorous, rigid, and perfectionist senior sister, stares at him every day to practice and correct his mistakes, while Wang Pang'er, their honest, foodie, and mediocre-cultivation fellow apprentice, always tags along to join the fun. Together, they stage daily funny routines of practicing fails, cultivation misunderstandings, and being slackers going against involution, showcasing an alternative Buddhist-style cultivation fun.
