Chu Sheng, an ordinary young man from the mortal world, accidentally becomes the Heavenly Court's Scrap Star Lord, freely traveling between the immortal and mortal realms. While others treat the immortals with the utmost respect when they ascend to heaven, he becomes sworn brothers with the Heavenly Court's three mischievous troublemakers, the Great Sage, Nezha, and Erlang Shen, playing mahjong, eating spicy strips, smoking cigarettes, and watching the celestial youths. The discarded magical treasures, leftover immortal peach pits, furniture used by immortals, and fragments of divine weapons lost in battle that they casually throw away are all hauled back to the mortal world by Chu Sheng. What counts as junk in the Heavenly Court is treasure in the mortal world, and the things he brings back from heaven also cause quite a stir in the human realm.
