Modern special forces soldier Zhou Jingyuan travels through time to the borders of the Great Qian Dynasty. Starting as a dying recruit in a desperate situation, he turns his fate around with his advanced strategic thinking and combat skills, repeatedly earning extraordinary military merits on the battlefield. Gu Zhiwei, the daughter of a disgraced official, recognizes his exceptional abilities and proactively forms an alliance with him, supporting him with her intelligence and accounting skills. Zhou Jingyuan outsmarts the corrupt squad leader Liu Heng, leads a small team deep into enemy territory to burn 100,000 units of grain and supplies, and sets an ambush at Hulu Pass to crush the barbarian commander Temur, achieving a rare and decisive victory on the frontier. With a corrupt court, treacherous officials in power, and barbarian forces closing in, Zhou Jingyuan uses an iron fist to shatter layers of conspiracies. When an imperial decree orders the surrender of territory and abandonment of its people, he boldly defies the emperor's command and stands firm to defend the city. Rising from an ordinary recruit against all odds, he forges his own path as a War God who wields his blade to protect the people.
