After four years of hard work away from home, successful businessman Zhang Shuo finally returns to his hometown to fulfill his filial duties. To his shock, the provincial highway leading to Qingyun Village has been enclosed within a privately operated scenic area, forcing residents to pay admission fees and detention charges just to get home. His uncle, Zhang Youcai, has colluded with scenic area owner Liu Huidong, embezzling villagers' dividends, forcibly seizing their land, and silencing anyone who dares to object through violence. Zhang Shuo appears to endure the injustice quietly, but secretly joins forces with lawyers and fellow villagers to gather evidence and expose the scheme. When his father is kidnapped, he works with the police to rescue him and bring the criminals to justice.
