Wang Qingxian, a naturally absent-minded man with brain fog, squanders his family's entire cash reserve after living off their wealth. His grandmother finally loses patience and makes him take over a building in Happy Home Residences, so he can support himself by collecting rent. However, due to a one-character difference in the navigation instructions, he accidentally ends up at Lucky Home Residences, a residential complex governed by deadly horror rules.
