The Richest Man Searching for His Wife for Eighteen Years, Recognizing His Son on the Street
He Wenzhou, chairman of the He Group, has spent eighteen years searching bitterly for his first love Meng Suining, bound by a promise they made back then with a split dragon-and-phoenix jade pendant. Today, he accidentally encounters He Zhile, a boy picking up scrap, and seeing the half jade pendant on the child's chest, follows him all the way to Meng's Steamed Bun Shop. Seeing a man accompanying Meng Suining, He Wenzhou sadly retreats, thinking she has long found another home. It is not until his assistant clarifies the truth that he learns the man is her older brother, and Meng Suining has spent many years alone raising the child through hardship. He Wenzhou decides to hide his identity as a wealthy tycoon and approach the mother and son anew as an ordinary person.
