Gaoyang time-traveled into the Da Qian dynasty, coinciding with the Empress ascending the throne and widely recruiting talents from across the realm. He recommended himself as a strategist. The Empress asked: When you overthrow the traitorous official who colluded with the enemy and betrayed the country, and his core faction members are all brought to justice, only to discover that a young distant relative is hiding in the shadows, how would you deal with him? Gaoyang replied: This subject would tell him that today's disaster is his family's deserved punishment, I never slaughter innocent children, and today I will spare his life. After finishing, he turned around as if to leave, but then suddenly turned back and laughed aloud: Haha, kid, I've changed my mind again. Seeing this, the Empress covered her forehead and sighed heavily: I've truly found a jokester.
