Twenty years ago, Mother Zhang rescued Chen Yuanshan and a black cat on a snowy night. Twenty years later, a coffin inscribed with Zhang Shitou's name mysteriously appeared, and the black cat started talking, uncovering the old case of the disaster relief grain being resold back then. As the investigation deepened, the burned ancestral hall, the missing name list, and Shen Dechang, who had been dead for ten years, surfaced one after another. In the end, with the help of the fellow villagers, Zhang Shitou recovered the general ledger and property deeds that his father had hidden for twenty years, bringing the truth back to light and making Xishan truly return to the whole village. Kindness is already repaid, goodness must not stop.
