Our Village's Golden Apple
Our Village's Golden Apple is a 24-episode local light comedy rooted in Jingning. Set against the backdrop of a million-mu apple industry, it tells the story of veteran apple farmer Wang Mancang and his returning entrepreneur son, Wang Xiangyang, who go from conflicting on planting concepts and sales ideas to reconciling after experiencing disaster years and market storms, joining hands with the whole village to upgrade the apple industry using "old craftsmanship, new technology, and new e-commerce." The whole drama integrates the provincial intangible cultural heritage beating flower whip, the March 28 temple fair, and Jingning local customs, following a slice-of-life narrative that is warm, down-to-earth, and full of lively atmosphere, making it a light comedy that fits the public's daily life and pairs well with meals.
