Distinguish Truth from Falsehood with a Carving Knife, Uphold the Righteous Path with an Upright Heart
Chen Shouyi, a veteran master of intangible cultural heritage, exposes Zhou Lin for selling fake wood carvings made by machine to imitate handcrafted pieces. Enraged, Zhou Lin destroys wooden sculptures in the museum collection and smashes his inheritor award trophy. The museum director curries favor with the powerful and drives him out. No one knows that Chen Shouyi is the biological father of Chen Junsheng, Jiangcheng's richest man. Relying on her engagement to Chen Junsheng, Zhou Lin acts with impunity, repeatedly faking evidence, staging incidents, and making false accusations. Chen Shouyi secretly gathers complete evidence and exposes all her schemes in front of everyone at his sixtieth-birthday banquet. Zhou Lin's crimes are revealed, and father and son join forces to uphold the righteous path of intangible cultural heritage.
