Ordinary farmer Zhou Changlin used the last half ladle of water in his home to water a seed, and it unexpectedly grew into a heaven-connecting tree reaching straight into the sea of clouds. He rode a miraculous disc to ascend the stone platform above the clouds, met the phoenix guarding the heavenly tree, and brought back a cyan gourd containing a little phoenix. Returning to the village, the village encountered multiple difficulties such as water shortage, heavy rain, and flash floods. Zhou Changlin, his wife, the villagers, and the lively little phoenix worked together with one heart to resolve various crises. The heaven-connecting tree quietly bloomed flowers, but an unknown strange sound came from the top of the tree, and a new test quietly descended.
