Lu Yu is reborn back to the day when Liang Weiwei came knocking to frame him with a fake porcelain scam. In his past life, he gullibly believed the story of a drunken pregnancy, raised another man's child for eighteen years, and emptied out his savings, only to be publicly humiliated as a stinky cook and die a lonely death from illness. In this life, he publicly exposes the scam, refuses to be the scapegoat, takes the lead in reclaiming the ancestral cookbook, and resigns to set up his own stove. Starting from a small four-table kitchen, he conquers diners with inherited culinary arts, wins favor, and builds the Lu family business into a brand; those who plotted against him ultimately reap what they sow. The hearth fire reignites, and this time, he cooks only for himself.
