On a graduation trip to an island, Li Enxia finally mustered up the courage to publicly confess her feelings to Zhou Jing, her childhood friend whom she had a secret crush on for years, but she was ruthlessly rejected, becoming the laughing stock of others and feeling utterly embarrassed. Feeling low, she unexpectedly crossed paths frequently with Zhou Chengyang, her arch-nemesis whom she always bickered and fought with. The past petty arguments and verbal sparring gradually faded of their edge, turning into quiet protection and gentle companionship. Through repeated interactions and tension, their suppressed feelings slowly fermented, and a mutual attraction quietly descended. Later, at the Zhou family banquet, Li Enxia calmly held Zhou Chengyang's arm to make a high-profile entrance, casually addressing Zhou Jing as older brother. Zhou Jing, who could not get what he wanted, witnessed everything and completely broke down mentally.
