Shen Yulan is a grandmother who has spent half her life working tirelessly for her family, devoting every day to the kitchen and her children and grandchildren, only to receive not even the slightest respect in return. When her granddaughter, Zhou Siran, returns from studying abroad, she begins looking down on her grandmother for being old-fashioned.
