Former national billiards champion Gu Ye suffered hand nerve damage, shattering his tournament dreams and living in hardship. To save the billiards hall carrying his memories, he took on a high-paying contract, coming to the Lin family to serve as billiards coach for the rebellious young girl Lu Yinuo. Lu Yinuo, deeply trapped in the knot of her father's passing, repeatedly made things difficult for Gu Ye, yet accidentally glimpsed his past trapped by injury and illness. The two redeemed each other at the billiards table, with Gu Ye helping Yinuo walk out of her psychological haze to prepare for the youth training camp, while also facing his own trauma of five years. In the end, Yinuo stood on the tournament stage to fulfill her dream, and Gu Ye broke free from his inner demons, picked up his cue once again, and harvested career and warmth.
