Scholar Shen Yan, in order to earn three liang of wages, takes on a county office assistance assignment, but encounters a bizarre case: the six hundred liang river repair account book of the embankment project mysteriously disappears, and all suspicions point to Xu Xiaoman's big white goose, which is falsely accused of being the goose that chewed up the account book.
