Xu Mo, a hardcore male gamer from the 22nd century, accidentally travels into the Cthulhu-style game Revival of the Old Ones, where his consciousness inhabits the frail body of a young girl named Bai Feifei. With his deep knowledge of the storyline and godlike abilities such as 'save-point reloading,' he controls the girl's body to blaze through the post-apocalyptic wasteland with overwhelming force. During the selection trials in Dawn City, Xu Mo's reckless behavior clashes fiercely with Bai Feifei's innate kindness. Their actions not only disrupt the conspiracies of the inner city's powerful elites but also prematurely awaken the heart of the ancient evil god known as the True World beneath the coal mine.
