To escape her family's schemes, Shen Xi meets Chen Chuan on a blind date. Believing each other to be ordinary workers, the two register their marriage and enter a contract marriage. During cohabitation, they suspect each other and investigate secretly. While checking archives at the government service center, they simultaneously expose their true identities, revealing that they respectively hold tax and financial groups as well as the Chen Group. They pool their evidence, publicly expose the truth of the Shen family embezzling inheritance and financial violations, defeat the Shen family's conspiracy, and the contract marriage ultimately blossoms into true love.
