In his past life, his father guarded the sheep pen to the death and was submerged by black mud; he pushed his nephew up the high slope, but failed to climb up himself. Reborn back to three days before the dam collapse, he has only one thought: this time, not a single one of the people he loves can be missing. The first to stop him is his father, because that dam was his father's lifelong hard work. He sells sheep, inspects the dam, and knocks on doors, swallowing all the curses, just to let those sixty-three lives survive. On a stormy night, amidst the sound of gongs, the whole villager helps the old and leads the young to move toward the high slope. At dawn, his father's old tears stream down: if the sheep are gone they can be raised again, but if people are gone, then nothing is left at all. He uses three days to protect the entire village year after year.
