When a mudslide disaster broke out in Longwang Mountain, Cheng Muqi, whose wife was experiencing a difficult labor at the county hospital, learned that his mother was trapped in the mountain and resolutely drove an old pickup truck upstream against the flood. Along the way, he broke through cave-ins, falling rocks, and floods, rescuing multiple trapped fellow villagers, and successfully rescued his mother from danger before the dam discharged floodwaters. Cheng Muqi's filial piety moved the entire internet, reaping honors and kindness. In the end, the family rebuilt their home, conveying the warm core of filial piety passed down through generations.
