Qingshi Village has suffered a severe drought for three months. The entire village kneels and begs the Dragon King to bestow rain. Four-year-old You Mi, however, climbs onto the offering table and declares outright that the Dragon King Ao Lan owes her three rains. To collect what is owed, she detains the rain token, locks the water gates, releases water diverted secretly, and digs through public ditches — and time and again drags Ao Lan, who abides only by heavenly rules, into human troubles. Storms, mountain fires and water disputes strike one after another. Through every choice You Mi makes, she teaches Zhou Shoucai and the whole village to care for people first, then for gain. When the three rains are finally paid back, Qingshi Village prepares for autumn planting once more — yet strange sounds come from the stone lions beyond the mountains, and new oddities find their way to her.
