In a village undergoing the construction of a new homeland, veteran building craftsman Chen Shoushan relies on his years of experience to always insist on selecting qualified building materials and strictly controlling construction quality. However, facing the villagers' desire to reduce costs and shorten construction periods, his persistence sparks quite a few misunderstandings. Only retired villager Old Xu consistently trusts Chen Shoushan, entrusting his retirement home to him to build with peace of mind.
