A Middle-Aged Man's Misadventures: I Turn My Life Around by Fishing with a Magical Cat
In middle age, Chen Haisheng faces the breakdown of his marriage and is left with nothing after the divorce. His ex-wife and snobbish relatives look down on him. By chance, a magical cat entrusted to him by a scallop appears at the seaside, granting him the extraordinary ability to see underwater and lure fish. He borrows money to buy fishing equipment, only to be mocked by his ex-wife and her snobbish relatives for supposedly doing nothing productive. Using his newfound powers, he fishes alongside Lin Ruoxi, the heiress of the Lin family. The two go from bickering rivals to falling in love. As he earns money and makes connections with influential people, he gradually turns his life around, making his ex-wife and her snobbish relatives regret their treatment of him.
