Lu Chen, a backbone of the plateau snow mountain rescue team, discovered problems in the distribution of internal subsidies and raised questions, leading to being ostracized and suppressed by some members within the team. He successively encountered misunderstandings, smears, and public opinion controversies, which even implicated the safety of his family. Supported by inspection personnel, civilian rescue forces, and upright colleagues, Lu Chen persisted in collecting clues and restoring the truth of the incident. He adhered to his original rescue aspiration, completed an ultra-high-difficulty snow mountain search and rescue mission regardless of dangers, while clarifying various problems accumulated within the team, sweeping away internal unhealthy tendencies, guarding people in distress on the plateau, and fighting for due rights and interests for frontline practical workers.
