In her previous life, the heroine was the Crown Princess. Her elder sister and husband joined forces to persecute her, and she died alongside her young son after being forced to drink poison. Reborn, she refuses to keep yielding. Instead, she goes along with her ambitious elder sister's scheme to enter the Eastern Palace. Calmly plotting her moves, she exposes her sister's fake pregnancy and conspiracy to switch the imperial heir, while gathering evidence of the Crown Prince's embezzlement until he is deposed. She helps her son ascend the throne, breaks free from the constraints of the imperial harem, and becomes a revered Empress Dowager.
