Immortals and deities from the Three Realms descend to the mortal world to wreak havoc and collude with underworld forces. The Jade Emperor, Lin Hao, seals his divine powers and disguises himself as a food delivery rider to go undercover in Yuncheng. By chance, he enters a whirlwind marriage with Su Qingyan, the president of the Su Group, and becomes her live-in son-in-law. After enduring humiliation, he reveals his divine might and joins forces with the descended immortals to humiliate the villains and purge the chaos. In the end, he slays the Netherworld Demon Lord, who covets Su Qingyan's Nine Heavens Phoenix Soul. After restoring order to the Three Realms, he chooses to remain in the mortal world and spend the rest of his life with his beloved.
