Fang Han transmigrates into a chaotic era of famine, inhabiting a young man with a crippled leg and unlocking the ability to travel between two worlds. He protects Shen Wei, joins forces with Li Wencai, and takes in Lin Xue to manage affairs. With supplies and weapons brought from another world, Fang Han puts down bandit troubles, provides relief to displaced refugees, fights a major battle against the Xiongnu, and even rescues the female emperor Wu Mei. Overcoming one challenge after another, the once-destitute cripple eventually makes a name for himself amid the chaos and is granted the title of prince with a different surname.
