Lin Jing runs a community convenience store, picking up her daughter Guoguo from school every day, and also regularly picking up three children from relatives' families along the way. The three families together only give ninety yuan per month, yet gradually take her kindness for granted. Lin Jing returns the fees, stops the pick-ups, and from then on only picks up her own daughter. After the relatives turn to professional childcare, they finally discover that punctual pick-up, temporary care, homework tutoring, and dinner all have clear costs. Facing another request for help, Lin Jing holds her boundaries, letting her family understand that family affection can involve mutual help, but cannot treat other people's time as a free obligation.
