Su Yanqing, an experienced architectural designer, stepped away from her career for fifteen years to care for her seriously ill mother-in-law, but she never abandoned her architectural dreams. Together with her partners, she establishes a design firm, incorporates Eastern aesthetics into modern design, and earns international recognition, bringing Chinese design to the world. After her marriage falls apart, she stands up for her legal rights and starts over, creating positions to help women who have left the workforce return to their careers. Her ex-husband, Gu Yuchen, also reflects on his responsibilities after experiencing setbacks and learns to earn an honest living through hard work.
